RFID Network Features SimplyRFID Low-Cost "Sting" Kit - Limited Quantity

SimplyRFID is introducing a low-cost “sting” kit to allow companies to protect their assets from theft.  The sting kit includes an RFID reader, a set of RFID tags, a monitoring video camera, and a dedicated pc with software to provide theft monitoring.   By applying the tags to important assets, companies can set off alerts and reports when the assets are taken through a doorway.  Customers also find that sting kits work well to monitor stairways, break rooms, and back door exits to prevent theft.

The RFID Network interviewer, Louis Sirico, comments: “ The system uses video surveillance cameras mounted in obvious locations and others that are hidden. I was surprised to learn that security personnel no longer need to sit and watch the video monitors; the RFID tags provide a far superior means of triggering alerts. A tag read in a particular location automatically triggers video recording and sends an instant alert to the security personnel's mobile devices. In the demonstration, an Android mobile phone received a message that linked to high definition photo of a theft in progress.”
