Air Conditioning Can Help To Beat Soaring Prices

Sept. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Prices in the UK are soaring, especially utilities, with almost every bill we are notified that the price of electricity and gas is going up, soon we will not be able to afford keeping ourselves warm in the winter which for the vulnerable is not worth contemplating.

Every household in the UK is looking to saving money and cutting down on almost everything, to make ends meet, central heating is one of the most important services that we need on cold winter days.

Not many people know that air conditioning units can offer energy efficient heating, heat transfer from one place to another can provide air conditioning or heating.  There is no burning of fossil fuels to provide the heating in the winter, a system will simply move the free heat which is outside to inside to provide the heating, this of course makes the system extremely energy efficient.

Any standard heating you will typically have to input 1kw of electrical power in order to receive 1kw of heating into the room, but with ‘heat pump technology’ which is now becoming common place, you input 1kw of electrical energy but you actually receive approximately 4kw of heating into the room, this puts this method of heating at an average of 4 times more efficient and 4 times cheaper to run, think about this, you are only paying for 1kw of electric power in order to receive 4kw of heating.

A very simplistic overview of how an installed air conditioner works is very simple to explain, there are two parts to an installed air conditioning system, an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, these two units are connected together by copper pipes which carry refrigerant, thus when the system is run in air conditioning mode the refrigerant flows through the indoor unit absorbing the heat in the room, this heat is then carried to the outdoor unit where it is dispersed into the surrounding air, ‘Heat pump technology’ simply means that the system can be run in reverse and provide efficient heating to a room, this whole method will be explained by a professional air conditioning specialist of your choice.

The media is constantly ‘banging on’ about the rising costs, and the great British public are doing their best to keep up with these rising costs, it makes sense to install a system that will not only give you cool air in the summer, but keep you warm in the winter and the bonus of course is that it is more energy efficient.

A spokesman for Climachill based in Sussex on the South Coast of the UK said “we can offer the consumer solutions to their heating and cooling problems, we are a dedicated team that will only offer what is best for the customer, we also do not just sell and walk away we give a ‘second to none’ after sales service, all the systems we install come with a 3 years full parts and labour warranty, and we offer a full maintenance package to our customers”.

The soaring prices in the UK, are forcing the consumer to research every possible commodity that will save them money, and a unit that can do two jobs in one cooling in summer and heating in winter seems to be value for money.
