By: Carl Nagaitis The 65 years old IT veteran who lives in Cranage began working in the computer business with ICL, one of the first British IT companies, back in the 1960s after gaining a physics degree at Imperial College. He went on to carve a solid career in the growing IT world until he set up his own company, a successful software house where he held the post of Managing Director. Since moving into semi-retirement Mr Knipe has held management posts with Cheshire Police and the NHS until being invited to join Triangle on a four day a week basis. Mr Knipe, who is married with two children and two grand children, described Triangle as: “A responsive software house that is eager to provide the best and most appropriate solution for client needs. The team is innovative and dedicated and I am delighted at having joined them.” Another new face at Triangle is that of 20 years old Jamie Dobson from Chester who is on a one-year student placement from Stafford University where he was studying Computer Games Programming to build up some hands-on experience in the world of professional programme writing. Triangle MD Tim Thomas-Peter said: “Garth brings some excellent skills to our team and I have no doubt that a professional with his wide experience in the industry will have a very positive impact. “We are also happy to welcome those bright new programmers of the future like Jamie who will reap the benefits of working as a part of our professional team.” For further information about Triangle click onto www.trianglesoftware.co.uk End
