Sept. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- London, UK – 26 September 2011 – Today Sitecore, the company that has redefined online customer engagement, announces its Graduate Recruitment Scheme to help give employment to graduates struggling to find a job. The programme will train and certify new graduates with Sitecore Technology and help them find careers with leading Sitecore Certified Partners.

The Office for National Statistics states the number of people unemployed rose by 80,000 in the three months to July, reaching 2.51 million, mainly due to a sharp rise in unemployment among young people. Sitecore’s scheme is aimed at helping to overcome this difficulty for graduates who want a career in IT. The company’s growth over the past decade and the introduction of its Customer Engagement Platform in 2011 has enabled it to start a scheme to find talented young people to work in this specialist technology field.

The benefits of this scheme for the graduates are extensive:
•   Free training on Sitecore technology, valued at over £2,000.
•   Once candidates pass the certification exams, they attend a job fair organised by Sitecore.
•   After six months of employment with a Sitecore Certified Partner, candidates are awarded an official Sitecore Developer Certification.
•   Successful graduates will have unique access to networking opportunities with Sitecore Certified Partners within the digital communications and technology community in the UK.

To apply to the scheme you should have graduated in the most recent academic year in an IT-related subject, and have .NET and C# programming experience. If you would like to make a career in software development, email your CV and cover letter to UK-Grads@sitecore.net before 10th October 2011.

•   Next dates for aptitude tests: week of 17th October 2011
•   Next training and job fair dates:  week of 31st October 2011.
