Plymouth, MA Single-family Home Prices Down, Sales Up August 2011

Nov. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- The median price of single-family homes in Plymouth, Massachusetts decreased in August 2011 while sales increased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes fell 4.5 percent in August 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $13,750.  With homes more affordable, single-family home sales in Plymouth, MA rose 39.5 percent in August 2011, a difference of 15 sales compared to August 2010.  

Condominium sales decreased 9.1 percent in August 2011, a difference of one sale compared to August 2010.The median price of condos increased 12.3 percent in August 2011, a difference of $29,000 compared to August of the previous year.

There were four multi-family homes sold in Plymouth in August 2010 compared to zero multi-family home sales in August 2011.
