Plymouth County, Massachusetts Single-family Median Home Prices Down, Sales Up July 2011

Oct. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- The median price of single-family homes in Plymouth County, Massachusetts decreased in July 2011 while sales increased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The median price of single-family homes fell 2.2 percent in July 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $7,000.  Single-family home sales in Plymouth County, MA rose 16.6 percent in July 2011, a difference of 51 sales compared to July 2010.  

Condominium sales decreased 7.8 percent in July 2011, a difference of five sales compared to July 2010.The median price of condos rose 0.8 percent in July 2011, a difference of only $2,050 compared to July of the previous year.

Sales of multi-family homes decreased 60 percent in July 2011, a difference of 18 sales compared to July 2010. The median price of multi-family homes rose 3.5 percent in July 2011, a difference of $6,028 compared to July of the previous year.
