Sept. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- BlackBerry Torch 9810 Reviews

The BlackBerry Torch 9810 may look the same as the original Torch, but with a 1.2GHz processor, it's blazing fast. It's also thinner than the original 9800, measuring 4.3x2.4x0.54 inches. And its 3.2 inch 640x480 pixel display is also an improvement over 9800. It has an internal storage of 8GB, 768MB RAM and an expandable memory to 32GB. The web browsing is great and 720p video recording rocks. With BlackBerry OS 7, Torch 9810 works slick and the full physical keyboard is easy to type on. But the battery door is hideous. BlackBerry Torch 9810 is a solid, faster Torch experience and as much as we hate to repeat ourselves, is what the original BlackBerry Torch should have been.
BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860 Reviews

The thin, light-weight design of Torch 9850/9860, with its curvacecous lines; beautiful screen resolution of 800x480 and excellent web brower make it into a great media-consumption device. But BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860 isn't designed for everyone. Those who rely on their physical keyboards to type hundreds of words at a time will find the virtual keyboard inadequate. It's a wonderful device for watching movies and exploring the world wide web.

How Can You Play DVD on BlackBerry Torch 9810, 9850 and 9860?

Since there is no hard drive on BlackBerry Torch Smartphones, you can't play DVD files on them unless you rip the DVDs to those devices with certain DVD ripping software. One program called Tune4mac DVD to BlackBerry Converter(http://www.tune4mac.com/mac-dvd-converter/) is a good alternative to choose from. It is able to convert any copy-protected or non-protected DVDs to MPEG-4 format which is compatible with BlackBerry Torch 9810, 9850 and 9860 on Mac OS X 10.5, 10.6 and 10.7.

How to Remove DRM from iTunes Movies to BlackBerry Torch?

As you know, BlackBerry Torch 9810, 9850 and 9860 can't play iTunes DRM protected movies, either. In order to convert iTunes movies to BlackBerry Smartphones, you need to remove DRM protection from the movies with DRM removal tools, such as Tune4mac iTunes M4V Converter Plus(http://www.tune4mac.com/mac-itunes-video-converter-platinum/).
