Horizon GC Celebrates Its First Anniversary On The Web

Sept. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- It was in September 2010 that Horizon GC launched www.implementiso20000.com, a website solely dedicated to helping companies implement ISO/IEC 20000. Now, one year later, the Canadian consulting firm assesses the website’s success and looks to the future.

Horizon GC’s president, Isabelle Perron, is very proud of her “baby”, the website she gave life to barely a year ago. “In just 12 months, the site has gone from being this idea in my head to being a genuine reference in ISO/IEC 20000 implementation! If you Google ‘ISO 20000’, you’ll find us right there on the first page. In the world! That’s no small feat for a site that wasn’t even on the radar at this time last year.”

Indeed, www.implementiso20000.com has garnered an impressive 23,000 page views since its launch. And while nearly half the visitors came from the United States, Canada, India and the United Kingdom, the overall readership spreads over 124 countries/territories.

“We are not blogging about personal fitness or the pursuit of happiness. Our subject is very specific and I am that much more pleased about the tremendous progress we’ve made,” add Ms. Perron.

But, with success come expectations, and Horizon GC’s president has plenty of them for the year ahead. “I’m quite satisfied that we’ve been able to put out 34 posts and have had 4 articles published on eZine, and I expect us to keep up this pace in the future. Where I hope to expand is with our product line. So far, we’ve only launched 3 products (the ISO 20000 Project Plan Template being the most popular) and we have a lot more coming.”

Also in the pipeline for 2011-2012 is a newsletter for the website’s subscribers and a comprehensive e-book based on Horizon GC’s unique Process Prototyping Implementation Methodology.

“We have a lot of projects, including expanding http://www.implementiso20000.com’ sister French site, which is also off to a great start. It’s going to be a busy year,” concludes Ms. Perron.
