Dating Website for Cuddling Launches as Survey Reveals Most Cuddle-Friendly US States

Sept. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Nevada has the highest demand in the US for no-strings-attached intimacy. That's according to a survey carried out by the first dating website designed to help people find someone to cuddle. West Virginia claimed second place, while Maine proved to be the state least in need of affection, according to CuddleComfort.com (http://www.cuddlecomfort.com/), which came out of closed beta and went live today.

Over a period of six months, CuddleComfort.com monitored 300 visitors from each US state to determine their average time spent browsing for a cuddle buddy (http://www.cuddlecomfort.com/). The results from each state were then compared to the national average.

Mark Sanger, CuddleComfort.com Owner, said: “Nevada had the highest demand for no-strings-attached intimacy, with almost a third more interest than second-placed West Virginia. Maine proved to be the state least in need of a cuddle, at 94% below America's average.”

Jeffrey Wright, Systems Administrator, explained why he joined: “I've tried to talk to my friends about my love for cuddling and so many of them just don't get it. To them, cuddling is simply a prerequisite to sex. To me, they aren't necessarily connected. Sure, sometimes one can lead to the other but, for the most part, I just need to cuddle.“

How CuddleComfort.com works

The way CuddleComfort.com works is simple. A member signs up - for free - indicates whether they are interested in a male or female cuddle buddy, and is then provided with a list of potential cuddle friends in their area. The member can then send a message to others to organise a cuddle. If they are happy with their experience, they can submit a review on the user's profile allowing others to better judge the integrity and trustworthiness of the member.
