Specialist UK tour operator Fleewinter recently launched Rebali, a unique complex of 6 luxurious Riads complete with its own Hammam & Spa.

The riads are located in the village of Sidi Kaouki on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, 20 minutes south of Essaouira and just 100 metres from the beach.  

The Hammam at Rebali, whilst traditional in design, is luxurious by Moroccan standards.  It is run by a lady called Laila and there are a variety of treatments on offer usually available between 2pm and 6pm each day.

Treatments include:

•   One hour Hammam scrub. This is an all-over deep pore cleanse with crushed olive-stone in the steam room, which is the traditional way of cleaning in Muslim countries (£35)  

•   One hour massage. This can be a relaxing or deep tissue treatment as required (£30 for 60 minutes or £20 for 30 minutes.  

•   Manicure or Pedicure (£20 for 30 minutes)

There is a room to relax and wait in prior to a treatment.  Guests are recommended to wear a swimming costume plus a robe over the top as upon leaving it can feel cold despite the 30 degrees heat!.

The 6 properties at Rebali have from 2–4 bedrooms, have been built in a traditional Riad style, with a central courtyard but with high tech functionality such as remote controlled sliding glass roofs and all have private gardens, roof terraces and balconies.  Other touches include large double showers and four poster beds (with imported Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels).

There is a large, communal swimming pool (the larger properties have private pools) and the complex also has tennis courts and an on-site kitchen who will deliver meals to the riads.

The Rebali complex combines the exclusivity and privacy of a villa with the service and intimacy of a boutique hotel.

The Riads can be taken over for exclusive use by families or small groups, or individual rooms in the larger properties can be rented by couples.
