Insights Marketing & HBCUSportsOnline.com Kick-off the 11th Annual National Reunion Tour

Sept. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Insights Marketing and Promotions in partnership with HBCUSportsOnline.com kicked-off the 11th Annual National Reunion Tour this past weekend during the 2011 Houston Classic and Nations Football Classic games. The National Reunion Tour is a nine-city tour created to provide an upscale event for professionals and alumni to network and party with a purpose. The event will feature performances from some of hip hop’s legendary acts including Big Daddy Kane, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, and Biz Markie. The tour will travel to the nation’s top national conferences and HBCU’s classic games and homecomings between the months of September and November 2011. A percentage of the proceeds from each event will benefit the local chapters of the HBCU Alumni Associations scholarship funds.

For the past 10 years, the National Reunion Tour has been the official event for top national conferences and HBCU classic and homecoming games since the event launched in 2000. Yearly, over 10K+ tastemakers, festival and conference goers attend the upscale reunion party. Keshia Walker, Founder and President of Insights states, “We look forward to the Reunion Tour every year. It’s the ultimate party with a purpose. You not only have a great time, but you also raise money for the local HBCU Alumni Associations…as a graduate of a HBCU, that is always a great feeling!” Walker continues, “Each year the tour gets bigger and better then the last. The National Reunion Tour was created to make a difference for students pursuing the best in higher education at HBCU's across the country each year. Since 2000, the National Reunion Tour has donated more than $30,000 to local HBCU Alumni chapters throughout the nation.
