Rick Denzien releases new project "Radiate"

Rick began writing songs while in high school, but it wasn’t until he started his first day job soldering up snakes for whirlwind.  This company took him to show sights.  One was a 5000 seat venue up in Rochester, New York and was blown away by that experience.  About 8 months later he had his chance, but wasn’t as easy as it looked.  What it did do was get him started.  Rick was able to use the company’s recording studio and he began recording his music and archiving them.  There were many songs – sometimes more than 40 per month.

Rick Denizen’s newest project is titled “Radiate”.  Off this CD the single with the same name leads the way.  This song is about making choices that impact the environment like using Styrofoam cups vs. a regular cup or bottled water, etc.  The ability to choose and choose what’s right is what’s going to make the difference on our planet.  Rick is doing his part by writing music that will have an impact on choices that people make in their lives.  This song is one of them.  The theme of this song “is set seconds before a school shooting and what happens to a single girl in the shooting”, states Rick.  “Radiate is a nexus of opposing forces which destroy some and heal others.  In the end it is what the listener will do, my choice is to try to Radiate love instead of hate”.  This song has a great rock/country beat to it.  It is suspenseful with great vocals and harmonies.  The vocals play off of each other which give it a nice layered effect.  The guitar gives it the seriousness of the story being told.  The lyrics are catchy and are truly a glorious song.  
“Radiate” has 14 songs on this CD.  They are looking for a release date of around October and November.  The creative aspect is a thrill to Rick and is taking the time to create that magic that his audiences expect from him.  

Rick Denzien is a story teller.  He tells stories of his life, his journeys.  Whether he chooses to arrangement them in a folk format or a jazz format or rock format, it IS part of what makes Rick so unique.  There are many songs that represent the collaborative effects of Rick Denzien and other musicians that may have taken part in the recordings.  Songs like “Casual Affair” is so poignant and has affected me personally.  What an artist he is.  Keep creating Rick because you a creator of beautiful music, impactful music – something we all will remember for a lifetime.  

Prior to “Radiate” which is set to be released in the fall, Rick has released “Exit 21 – Laser Writing On The Moon”, “Heal The Land”, and “Son Of The Morning”.  Every song on all these CD’s is a therapy session.  Sit back and enjoy the music of Rick Denzien.  
Rick Denzien has over 30 songs on Youtube which can be easily accessed by searching his name.  He has co-written some songs with partner Debra Lee from Lyra Project.  Also, many of the songs on this upcoming CD are finalists in various song contests such as Song of the Year and American Songwriter Magazine, Indie Girl etc..  

He has jumped off a tower with Sid Straw on MTV one afternoon in Los Angeles.  He has also opened for an amazing number of artists such as The Mustangs, Adrien Blue, Adren Legg, Richard Ace & The Songs of Ace, Brian Bortnick, Phill Keagy, Craig Bickhardt, Ronstadt Generations, Oasis, Aaron Snow, Green House and many, many more.  There are literally 30 to 40 other artists that I’ve not named here due to space constraints.  
In the Spring of 2012 he is heading back to Buffalo, New York to begin a new tour.  His eye is also looking towards Europe for a second tour.  There is nothing like being on the road to Rick.  It is the journey as well as the destination that brings him inspiration and joy.
