Middlesex County, MA Single-family Home Sales Up, Prices Stable July 2011

Oct. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Sales of single-family homes in Middlesex County, Massachusetts increased in July 2011 while the median price was flat, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

Single-family home sales in Middlesex County, MA rose 12.9 percent in July 2011, a difference of 101 sales compared to July 2010. The median price of single-family homes was flat in July 2011 compared to the previous year, with a median price of $440,000 each July.  

Condominium sales increased 35.6 percent in July 2011, a difference of 118 sales compared to July 2010. The median price of condos fell 0.7 percent in July 2011, a difference of only $2,500 compared to July 2010.

Sales of multi-family homes in Middlesex County rose 18.2 percent in July 2011, a difference of 18 sales compared to the previous year. The increase in sales may be a result of falling prices. The median price of multi-family homes decreased 11 percent in July 2011, a difference of $45,000 compared to July 2010.
