Follow on Google News | Essex County, MA Single-family Home Sales Up, Prices Stable July 2011Essex County, Massachusetts single-family home sales increased in July 2011 compared to July 2010 while prices stabilized, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only, LLC.

Single-family home sales in Essex County, MA rose 14.4 percent in July 2011, a difference of 55 sales compared to July 2010. The median price of single-family homes remained virtually flat in July 2011 compared to the previous year, with a difference of only $700. Condominium sales increased 10.3 percent in July 2011, a difference of 14 sales compared to July 2010. The median price of condos fell 13 percent in July 2011, a difference of $31,950 compared to July of the previous year. Sales of multi-family homes in Essex County fell 8.1 percent in July 2011, a difference of five sales compared to the previous year. The median price of multi-family homes increased 15 percent in July 2011, a difference of $28,000 compared to July 2010.
