Newburyport, Massachusetts Single-family Home Prices Jump, Single-family Home Sales Double July 2011

Oct. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- The median price and sales of single-family homes and condominiums in Newburyport, Massachusetts increased in July 2011, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The median price of single-family homes rose 23.2 percent in July 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $95,500.  Single-family home sales in Newburyport, MA rose 100 percent in July 2011, a difference of 11 sales compared to July 2010.  

In July 2011 the median price of condominiums increased 6.1 percent, or $20,500 compared to July 2010.  Condo sales rose 80 percent in July 2011, a difference of four sales.  

There was only one multi-family home sold in July 2011, up from zero sales in the previous month of July.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.
