McKenna Long & Aldridge Partner David Fine Appointed to Metro State Foundation Board of Directors

Sept. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- DENVER — David Fine, a partner in the Denver office of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA), has been appointed to the board of directors of the Metropolitan State College of Denver Foundation, created exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes to benefit the college and its students.  Fine will serve a three-year term.

“I am honored to serve the Metro State College of Denver as a member of the foundation’s board,” said Fine.  “The foundation plays a critical role in promoting the college and raising money for its departments, programs and student scholarships.  I look forward to working with my fellow board members and contributing to the foundation’s mission.”

Fine’s practice focuses on business disputes and commercial litigation, employment law, and public policy matters.  Fine joined MLA in April 2011 after serving as Denver’s City Attorney for more than three years.  In that capacity, he provided policy and legal advice to Mayor John Hickenlooper and other city leadership, served as the final decision-maker on all critical legal decisions facing the city, and managed a large public law firm with diverse practices.
