Sept. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, California based FUTURAWIND INC has released the first in a series of "I Love You Wind!" marketing videos aimed at reaching companies that are interested in licensing wind turbine technology and becoming wind turbine manufacturers within one year. The company is currently developing a portfolio of wind turbine designs ranging from 100 kW to 25 MW for the on- and off-shore wind energy markets, directly engaging customers and component suppliers on all aspects of the design phase in their toll-gate based design control process. This first marketing video is a mix of light humor and subtle messages about wind power, and was professionally produced by DustFilms of Los Angeles.

The video is posted on the FUTURAWIND YouTube channel and can be seen at the following link: http://youtu.be/1ioaa8kLDxk?hd=1

"The intent of this first video is to reach potential customers via an in-direct marketing strategy", stated Jody Shadden, President and CEO of FUTURAWIND. The company employed Los Angeles based DustFilms (www.dustfilms.com) for production of the video. Dustin McLean, owner of DustFilms, commented, "FUTURAWIND gave me creative freedom to make a video I could be proud of and could stand out in the online world of viral videos".

"I really like the comment from Mr. McLean regarding creative freedom," said Mr. Shadden, "this is exactly how we approach each new wind turbine design project - we empower our engineers to express their creative and innovative abilities in order to take our designs to the next level in terms of higher reliability, lower cost of energy, maximum energy production, and mass (weight) optimization for each and every component via our newly developed feather-weightâ„¢ technology." This new technology enables the company to engineer wind turbines that are up to 10% lighter than most wind turbines being manufactured today for each power and wind class.

FUTURAWIND entered into a technology development, licensing, and transfer agreement in May 2011 with Adithyawind Pvt Ltd, based in Coimbatore, India, for a 1.5 MW direct-drive wind turbine. The company is actively negotiating several other licensing deals with companies in India, Europe, North America, South America, and Africa.

The "I Love You Wind!" series will continue over the course of the next 12 to 18 months, along with more traditional advertising, in order to reach as many customers as possible, and ultimately help companies not only become profitable wind turbine manufacturers, but also create clean tech jobs in an industry that continues to grow despite economic woes across the globe.
