Sept. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Every day smokers attempt to rid themselves of this addiction by means of nicotine replacement products, prescription medications, and sheer will power. If 45 million Americans smoke and 80% of them want to quit, wouldn’t it be great if there were an easy way? For the uneducated and unprepared, nicotine addiction might seem difficult to overcome. But as Allen Carr will tell us, overcoming the physical addiction itself is not the key to quitting. When smokers begin to realize the misconceptions they have about the cigarette itself and what it does for them, they will find it easy to break free from addiction.

Sir Anthony Hopkins claimed, “I found it not only easy but unbelievably enjoyable to stay stopped.” Allen Carr’s Easy Way method is just that. It will allow smokers to quit:

•   Immediately
•   Permanently
•   Without needing willpower
•   Without suffering withdrawal symptoms
•   Without putting on weight

The new 2011 US edition of Allen Carr’s Easy Way to Stop Smoking will release this November during the Great American Smokeout.  With over 13 million copies in 35 languages sold over 25 years, the numbers speak for themselves. Previous editions of this book have topped bestseller lists in nine countries.  With over 650 5-star reviews on Amazon, as well as celebrity endorsements from Ellen DeGeneres, Ashton Kutcher, Sir Richard Branson, Anjelica Huston, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jason Mraz, Neve Campbell, and Lou Reed (to name a few), American smokers are slowly beginning to discover the Allen Carr method.

About the Author

Allen Carr became a qualified accountant in 1958. He was successful in his chosen profession, but his hundred-cigarettes-a-day addiction was driving him to despair. In 1983, after countless failed attempts to stop using the willpower method, he finally discovered what the world had been waiting for – an Easy Way to Stop Smoking.

After leaving accountancy to help cure the world’s smokers, Allen built up a global reputation as a result of the phenomenal success of his method. Today he is recognized as the world’s leading expert on helping smokers to quit. Smokers used to have to fly from all over the world to attend his clinic in London; now his network of clinics spans the globe. His organization, Allen Carr’s Easyway, has clinics in more than 150 cities in over 40 countries.

Before his death in 2006 Allen remarked:

“Since I smoked my final cigarette, 23 years ago, I have been the happiest man in the world, I still feel the same way today.”
