Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Since a garden bridge adds so much in the way of intangibles to its innate setting, there are ever so many ways to look at what it does.
I am a city boy so I have far more experience with subways, traffic, stop lights and smog than with the comfortable ambiance provided by growing green plants and furry free animals scampering around in a comfy green grass world. But that has not prevented me from appreciating the inherent beauty associated with a fine garden bridge that would provide an accessible added span to an appropriate private outdoor setting.
Since it is obviously true that urban housing conditions do not encourage much in the way of lawns, much less back yard enhancements; the space around a city house being small and crowded, particularly with concrete and bricks, I have still nevertheless gained my appreciation of the extra dimension a bridge adds to the natural beauty of a prized landscape or private tract of commensurately enjoyable land from places like the local Brooklyn Botanic Garden and, alternatively, from the bigger Bronx Botanical Garden and that appreciation is what has prompted me to write this little homage.
Since it adds so much in the way of intangibles to its innate setting, there are ever so many ways to look at what it does. By adding personal attainability, it certainly adds value to the surrounding land and contingent property. It also adds an extra depth of beauty to the space where it stands and its botanic majesty can be enjoyed at leisure, at length and in detail. A garden bridge changes the immediate atmosphere where it presides for the better with its positive direction and strong outreach and it always adds value to any stretch of land that is interrupted by too many rocks, an intrusive stream or mucky mud that is implacable and just keeps returning storm after dreary storm.
So if you want to solve the problems of rough terrain on a property you own you need look no further than an apropos garden bridge to smooth the way over.
In brief, what you are doing is adding to the ambiance and changing the instant scenic view in an enchanting way. You’re also making the terrain more accessible to yourself and those you hold dear and you’re adding incremental value, something that will surely filter down to your bottom line and personal comfort.
