Russian pigs are not only meet and fat, but biogas as well

Construction of 2MW electric power biogas plant has been started at Glushkovo, Kursk region, Russia. Project is implemented by Zorg Biogas AG under a contract with the customer from Moscow. All works are planed to be completed by the spring of 2012.

Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- 108 tons per day of liquid pig manure will be supplied to the plant from nearby pig farm “Avangard”. Besides pig waste biogas plant will use 108 tons per day of corn silage. Biogas plant will produce not only electricity but organic fertilizer and considerably improve local ecology and create new jobs.
