Peers select Ted Babbitt of Babbitt, Johnson, Osborne & Le Clainche for "Best Lawyers in America"
Theodore “Ted” Babbitt, founding partner in the West Palm Beach trial law firm Babbitt, Johnson, Osborne & Le Clainche, P.A., has been selected by his peers for the 2012 edition of the publication, "The Best Lawyers in America."
He was selected as a top plaintiffs’ lawyer in: Medical Malpractice Law; Personal Injury Litigation and Products Liability Litigation.
Best Lawyers named him “Personal Injury Litigator of the Year” for the West Palm Beach area in November 2010. In addition, Babbitt, Johnson, Osborne & Le Clainche is listed among the “Best Law Firms in America” by Best Lawyers and U.S. News and World Report.
Founded in 1968, Babbitt, Johnson, Osborne & Le Clainche focuses on catastrophic injury and significant loss from defective products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical negligence and automobile and trucking accidents, with a particular emphasis on complex litigation. Three of its four partners, including Mr. Babbitt, are Board Certified in Personal Injury Litigation. Its website is www.bjollaw.com or www.babbitt-
The law firm recently celebrated 30 years as a Preeminent Law Firm by Martindale-Hubbell, the standard global rating and referral service for lawyers. Three of its partners, Babbitt, Joseph Johnson and Stephan Le Clainche, are Jupiter residents. Partner Joseph Osborne of Boca Raton was recently named a finalist as Most Effective Lawyer by the Daily Business Review, the legal newspaper of record for Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade, for his work on the national steering committee for Trasylol litigation. The four name partners have more than 100 years’ collective experience.
Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 41,000 leading attorneys cast almost 3.9 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
It is compiled by Steven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith, both Harvard-trained lawyers, and is published by Woodward/White, Inc., in Aiken, S.C.
