iDS Managing Director Dan Regard Authors Chapter in New eDiscovery Reference

The book is published by the American Bar Association and is available for purchase.

Regard co-wrote chapter seven, “The Discovery of Structured Data”, with David Kessler, a partner in the New York office of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. The book is a 760+-page resource for attorneys, legal assistants, IT professionals and business executives with all levels of e-Discovery experience. According to the ABA, “This book identifies the key issues related to ESI--pre-litigation management, preservation, collection, processing, review, production, and use in deposition and at trial--and provides clear, practical guidance to litigators.” Managing E-Discovery and ESI: From Pre-Litigation Through Trial was edited by Michael Berman, Courtney Ingraffia Barton and Paul Grimm.  

Regard is a nationally recognized electronic evidence and case management expert with more than 20 years of experience consulting with legal and corporate entities. A programmer and an attorney by training, Regard has conducted system investigations, created data collections and managed discovery on some of the highest profile financial investigations of the last decade. He is responsible for the development and implementation of case and matter strategies that leverage technology to the clients’ best advantage in both litigations and investigations.
