Aug. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- The Inventory Institute announces the appointment of Colorado business owner, Scott Pantall  as the Public Safety and Preparedness Liaison (PSPL) for Home Inventory Professionals around the country. As the PSPL, Scott will work directly with America’s Home Inventory Professional community along with law enforcement, public safety, and preparedness organizations. He will share important facts, events, and information between the organizations and the community of Home Inventory Professionals around the country.

Scott was appointed to this unique position because of his well-known dedication to the Home Inventory profession as well as his passion for all-things safety and preparedness. He volunteers a majority of his time working with Home Inventory Professionals along with the many preparedness and safety news and information outlets.

In light of recent earthquakes, storms, hurricanes and in preparation of National Preparedness Month in September and National Fire Safety Month in October, along with the obvious need for a single source of preparedness information within the Home Inventory community, Scott will transition from his current role as a member of The Inventory Institute’s Advisory Board to this new and exciting role as PSPL over the next several weeks.

As a respected preparedness expert, Scott will be a featured presenter at the 2011 Home Inventory Professional’s conference held in Dallas in October 2011. His presentation will focus on how Home Inventory Professionals can work with public safety officials and preparedness organizations to help American home and business owners be as protected, prepared, and ready as possible.

Scott says, “Protecting your valuables is important, but your safety, your family’s safety, and your employees’ safety is even more important. An inventory is just one part of a well thought out readiness plan.”

Michelle Ketterman of The Inventory Institute says, “I have never met anyone more passionate and devoted to helping American home and business owners be prepared. Scott is an incredible asset to our profession. I am so excited that Scott will keep Home Inventory Professionals informed and updated on these very important issues. We are very lucky to have Scott help us navigate through the maze of preparedness information and organizations.”

Scott has spent the past five years as a 911 dispatcher for the Englewood, Colorado Police and Fire departments. Part of his job is to enter information on lost or stolen items into a nationwide computer system. This system is used by law enforcement around the country to track down everything from criminals to missing people to stolen items and cars.

Scott began to notice that many burglary and theft reports did not contain the necessary information to enter the items as stolen. He started Blue Spruce Inventory to not only provide Coloradans with professional Home Inventory options, but to arm them with the information needed to protect their homes and businesses.

Scott is a member of the CYA (Cover Your Assets) Team in Centennial, Colorado. The CYA Team is a small group of business owners whose vision is to give Colorado residents the tools and resources they need to prepare and organize their lives.

Scott grew up in the western suburbs of Denver and is proud to grow his family and business in the same area. Scott spends most of his free time at the Edge Ice Arena playing hockey and taking his daughter to figure skating lessons.

Scott can be reached a BlueSpruceHomeInventory.com or 720-771-5660.
