Oregon Honda shoppers can now can low lease rates on the 2012 Honda Civic at Griffith Honda.

Aug. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Griffith Honda, an Oregon Honda dealer, is offering low lease rates on the 2012 Honda Civic for a limited time.  Oregon Honda shoppers can get this best-selling vehicle for $189 a month with a $2,599 due at lease signing.  This offer only lasts until May 31st, 2011, so Oregon Honda drivers should act fast.

The 2012 Honda Civic Sedan is powered by a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine that gets 140 horsepower while still maintaining its fuel efficiency.  It’s so efficient that it manages to hold a classification as a Partial Zero-Emissions Vehicle, despite having a regular gasoline engine.

“The Civic is the only model in the industry that can deliver on all fronts – fuel economy, sporty performance, smart packaging, alternative fuel and long-term value,” said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda Motor Co.,Inc. “For the ninth-generation Civic, we are emphasizing improved fuel economy across the board, from the hybrid sedan to the sporty Si model.”

Oregon Honda Drivers Love The Civic

The 2012 Honda Civic Sedan uses Honda’s Intelligent Multi-Information display, or i-MID.  The i-MID is the central source for information about many vehicle functions including current fuel economy and audio-system settings.  Bluetooth HandsFreeLink info and turn-by-turn navigation directions are available with selected option packages. Drivers can customize their settings, colors and add their own unique wallpaper.

Standard on all Civic models is Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), which can brake individual wheels and/or reduce engine power in the event of oversteer or understeer to help regain the driver's intended path. The system also features a traction control function to help prevent wheelspin during acceleration.

Airbags include front, front-side and side curtain.  In the event of a moderate-to-severe side impact, the side airbag inflates to help protect the driver's or front passenger's upper body. The Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS) uses sensors in the front passenger's seatback to detect the height and seating position of the occupant.  If a child or adult of smaller stature is leaning into the deployment path of the side airbag, sensors deactivate it.
