The testers found that both BalaBit products met benchmark criteria.

West Coast Labs reviewed the products running on hardware, as well as their virtual versions. All testing activities were carried out within the framework of the ISO 17025:2005 accreditation standard for Test Laboratories. West Coast Labs Assessment “Testing of the SCB 3.0 virtual machine showed that all connections were received and handled correctly, the administrator was able to terminate established connections and the logged files were 100% accurate. Tests also showed the capability of Audit Player (a module that allows logged network traffic to be replayed in real time) to recreate the data from the session in an accurate movie-like format,” said Lysa Myers, director of research, West Coast Labs. “SSB 2.0 received several thousand logs, all from various sources, and WCL concluded that log files were received with a 100 percent success rate.
