The exquisite designs from the renowned top-quality shoe manufacturer Santoni share the watch’s defining attributes. Fine Italian straps have been developed for fine watches – the unique product of a thoroughly successful co-operation. Giuseppe Santoni shares this conviction. All variants of the Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days are held by Santoni straps made exclusively for IWC Schaffhausen. They are available in two different shades of brown, as well as in black. Santoni processes the leather to have an exclusive patina before it even leaves the factory. In addition to this characteristic dyeing process, the exquisite straps are also recognisable from the orange-coloured leather lining, typical of Santoni. Furthermore, they come complete with pin clasps as standard; folding clasps are available as an option.

IWC Schaffhausen and Santoni announced their cooperation at the beginning of 2011. They plan to work together on various projects over a five year period. To mark the start, Santoni is producing exclusive leather straps for the Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days from IWC Schaffhausen.
