Aug. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- They came, they saw, and they left choosing the “red pill”.  Just like in the movie Matrix, participants were provided with a choice.  In one hand, they were given a “blue pill” where if chosen, they would wake up in the morning go back to their normal jobs and forget this opportunity ever happened.  However, in the other hand, they were offered the “red pill” where if chosen, they would “travel down the rabbit hole” and learn about all of the things that create a successful laser tag attraction and how to capitalize on it.

Hosted by Creative Works (http://www.lasertagworld.com), the Lasertag360 EVENT was attended by over 30 people from across the U.S., Canada and as far away as Trinidad.  This special 2-day EVENT focused on the keys to successfully adding a laser tag attraction to a new or existing entertainment facility.  Presentations provided throughout the EVENT covered topics such as the future of gaming, understanding your target market, the hurdles to pass and other valuable insights.  “It’s refreshing to have people be honest about the struggles and pitfalls of the business from those that have been in the trenches,” said Bryan Lee out of Minnesota – an attendee of the EVENT.

As part of the event, Creative Works invited 4 of the top laser tag equipment manufacturers to showcase their equipment and allow the participants to try out each one.  Typically done at a tradeshow with manufacturers hundreds of yards away from one another, participants were able to try on vests and talk to the manufacturers one-on-one in a setting where they could see all of their options at the same time side-by-side.  “Over the past ten years I’ve attended many trade shows and industry conferences,” said Al Keeping of Laser-Blast (http://www.laser-blast.com).  “The LaserTag360 EVENT was the best overall informational resource that I’ve participated in for those interested in understanding what needs to happen to develop a laser tag business.”  Shane Zimmerman from Delta Strike (http://www.deltastrike.net) went on to say, “LaserTag360 was a very professional EVENT that gave all the attendees a head start with their research.”

Throughout the event, various surprises were revealed and discounts provided.  Additionally, give-a-ways by Sureshot Redemption (http://www.sureshot-redemption.com) were provided as well as goodie bags by the International Laser Tag Association (http://www.ilta.org) for all of the attendees.  Dave Jackson of Laserforce (http://www.laserforcetag.com) commented, “LaserTag360 was invigorating and very professionally organized.  I look forward to other events from Creative Works.”

Attendees also got the opportunity to see Creative Work’s new 5,000 square foot themed showroom that showcases 3 of their top attractions for family fun centers:   Laser Tag, Lazer Frenzy, and Cosmic Golf.  With over 2,500 square feet for the laser tag space alone, the arena was split up into 4 of the 11 different themes sold by the company:  Earth Quest, Adventure Quest, Urban Quest, and their new Cyber Quest theme that’s patterned after the movie TRON.  The 3-hole Cosmic Golf (http://www.cosmicgolf.com) course displayed the ever popular Jungle Quest theme with plants, wildlife, a crashed jeep display, ancient statues and more.  It was something right out of the Tomb Raider movies commented one of the attendees.  And lastly, participants of the EVENT got to play the Lazer Frenzy laser maze game (http://www.lazerfrenzy.com) which won the best new product award by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).  Similar to the Mission Impossible and Entrapment movies, this arcade based game challenges players to weave their way through laser beams as they try to achieve the best time for points and prizes.  It was great fun for all.

“This was a top notch EVENT with great information and great people,” responded Erik Guthrie of Zone Systems (http://www.nexuslasertag.com) when asked about his experience.  “The new Creative Works showroom was simply amazing and it allowed everyone to experience Lazer Frenzy, laser tag, and more.”

To sum everything up at the end, Jeff Schilling of Creative Works said, “This highly anticipated EVENT turned out to be a great experience for everyone, and we are proud to have been part of educating so many.  We look forward to future LaserTag360 EVENTS and hope to help many more in their quest to add laser tag as a profit center to their entertainment mix.”
