Aug. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- 1180 AM WVLZ, ESPN Radio Knoxville, announced that it is realigning its local on air content for the upcoming 2011 Football Season. The changes will take effect August 15, 2011.  Currently ESPN Knoxville is quickly becoming the most listened to station for Tennessee sports. The stations Flagship program, Swain and Rucker, moves to 3-5 PM EST. The move is designed to capture even more of the market share of sports talk radio programming in the area.  As it stands, ESPN Radio Knoxville is quickly becoming the most listened to station in the Knoxville market for sports.

GVX 247 Senior Writer and Co-Host of Swain and Rucker states, "We're really excited about the move. Our bosses wanted us in this time slot from the beginning, but we couldn't do it until Tennessee's football practices moved to the morning. We'll be bigger and better at 3 p.m., or at least louder. I love the dynamic we have as a trio — I'm the reporter, Jayson's the former player and Jon's the trained radio personality with the sexiest voice in Knoxville radio — and we're getting better every week ... except on the days we're bad. But that's Jon's fault, obviously. He pushes the buttons."  www.espnradioknoxville.com
