This gives the role players the ability to identify and explain the differences between the two cultures and offer feedback as to how the learners can handle certain situations that come up in a way that does not offend the customs, traditions or beliefs of the native people that they will work with.

Last, but certainly not least, since the instructors for the language and culture classes are natives to the culture that they teach, they have extremely valuable knowledge as to the safety and security of the clients for when they are living and working in those communities. Often, being a foreigner in the country where one lives and works means that having information on unsafe neighborhoods, violent groups and extremists in any political or religious communities can prove to be very valuable, especially if that person has no previous experience working in that part of the world.
