Manufacturing Training and White Eagle Aerospace To Offer Root Cause Failure Analysis Training

Aug. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Manufacturing Training and White Eagle Aerospace announced today that they are presenting a 2-day seminar on Root Cause Failure Analysis on September 22 and 23 in Ontario, California.   Joseph Berk, author of Systems Failure Analysis (ASM International, 2010), will present the training.

“Our approach focuses on finding the root causes of failures in complex systems,” said Berk.  “Our training is unique in that while we include component and material failure assessment topics, our primary focus is on finding root failure causes in systems.  In this situation, the engineers and failure analysts first have to identify which components to assess, and that’s what makes this training different than other approaches.  It’s been used with great success in complex military systems, aircraft, biomedical devices, and other high technology systems.”    

Berk is the author of nine books on the assurance technologies and related subjects.  He is a widely-respected consultant and expert witness who teaches at the University of Kansas and the California State Polytechnic University.
