Parr Lumber Donates Playhouse to Oregon Burn Center at Legacy Emanuel

Aug. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- PORTLAND, Ore. – Parr Lumber announced the completion of the custom-built playhouse for the Healing Garden at the Oregon Burn Center at Legacy Emanuel.  The playhouse, built from supplies donated by Parr Lumber, was dedicated during a ceremony July 11, 2011.

Legacy Oregon Burn Center is a leader in burn assessment, treatment and rehabilitation; the Healing Garden is designed for patients and their families to heal physically and emotionally. The garden is also an important space for horticulture therapy putting patients in a caregiver role and providing tranquility.

Oregon Burn Center has 16 beds, each in private rooms, treatment areas designed specifically for children and a host of other features making the center one of the best burn centers in the nation.
