The European Regional Development Fund in Poland (EFRE) co-finances a BeachTech beach cleaner

Aug. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- The Regional Development Fund for the region of Pomerania in Poland, the "Activity of Regional Operational Programme for Pomorskie Voivodship", includes EU support from the years 2007 to 2013 and has about 1.3 billion Euros in total available. The EU support by the EFRE amounts to 885 million Euros.

Intention of the EU investment
This operational regional programme is the first comprehensive development programme of the region with a financially stable background. Its strategic goal is to strengthen the power to compete, the social solidarity and the integration of this region. Additionally, the realisation of its unique economic and cultural potential will be boosted along with ensuring ecologic sustainability while using natural resources.
The gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated to rise by 3.4% and more than 7000 new jobs shall be created.
