Worcester Fitness Launches "Best of Worcester Fitness Videos" Site

Aug. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Worcester Fitness, the leading health, fitness and wellness provider in Central Massachusetts has launched a new web site devoted entirely to the clubs popular video blogs.

Entitled worcesterfitnessvideos.com, the site contains the entire Worcester Fitness video collection as well as all new releases as they are produced.

The new site will give people the best resource for the entire collection as well as the ability to suggest new video ideas."

The Worcester Fitness team writes, directs and produces all of the Worcester Fitness videos in-house. The team of trainers and customer service professionals star in all of the videos with some cameo appearances by long-time members and community leaders.

In 2008, Worcester Fitness launched it's first video blog entitled "Worcester Fitness Water Tips" starring personal trainer and physical therapist Erin Smith. The video was well received by members and the Worcester community alike. The video was refreshing in that, unlike many promotional videos by local companies, the production values of the Worcester Fitness video exhibited a high degree of professionalism and creativity.

The most highly viewed video in the collection is the "Connecting" video. This video exemplified the companies commitment to high quality production. Combining dramatic documentary style camera angles with well written interviews and authentic member stories, "Connecting" proved to be the most easily identified video in the Worcester Fitness collection.

"Member testimonials were really critical to the success of "Connecting", says Santa Maria. "The stories were so real and the people telling them so passionate, that the message came through loud and clear."

Worcester Fitness recently announced it's intention to begin filming an eight part mini series of videos that follow the progress of two members starting their journey at Worcester Fitness.

"The members will come from completely different backgrounds." explained Santa Maria, "On the one hand you will have a member who has been a competitive athlete their whole life. Now they want Worcester Fitness to help them reach the next level and achieve greatness in their sport of choice. On the other hand, you will meet a member who has recently come from their physician. They need activity in a safe and healthy manner. They need to move slowly and carefully. They need empathy as much as energy. The films will show these two members crossing paths and encouraging each other along the way."

Worcester Fitness is currently interviewing prospective individuals for the lead roles in these videos. The company says to expect a late November early December release of the first episode.
