Worlds Away releases new single

Worlds Away was formed in Halifax Nova Scotia in the summer of 2008.  What began as a typical jam session between two friends quickly escalated into a full blown recorded album titled “Light Years of the Impossible”.  Members include Craig Goodwin, Mike Stevens and Pete Rossiter.  Now in the process of recording yet another album, Worlds Away is releasing a taste of what is to come.

“Ransom Heart” is the single off of this yet to be titled and yet to be released album.  This single will give audiences how they’ve evolved since their initial album release.  This single was written as a reminder of all the dead end romances before you find the right one and the tendency to make an impression with material things vs. the person behind the facade.  You quickly realize the meaning behind this song within the first few lines.  With heavy electrical guitar and raw vocals, this rock song has a story line that audiences can relate to.  It has a great steady beat, catchy verses, is memorable and sustainable in this industry.  It is also a good representation as the core sound that they bring to their audiences.  

This new album is set for release in the fall of 2011.  

“This album is being dedicated to my fellow service men and women of Canada, United States and the United Kingdom”, states Craig Goodwin.  Two members of this group are in the Canadian Navy.
