Facebook-Born “Awesome Women Hub” Releases “Woyaya” Music Video

July 25, 2011 - PRLog -- The Awesome Women Hub, with a force of nearly 17,000 active members that started as a Facebook page only a year ago, released the next music video as part of their “What The World Needs Next Tour” that kicked off May 7th in Baltimore, Maryland.  In Los Angeles, the tour focused upon honoring the women of our “herstory”.  In an unique effort, women from six different countries joined in on the RE-Think Tank Conversation through Facebook.  Photo submissions were gathered from the active membership and were combined with live filming at the event in Los Angeles.

“Woyaya” was performed by the talented Annie Johnstone.  Annie’s voice is the only voice on this track.  She sings each part in harmony with herself.  Her debut album is to be released at the end of the summer 2011.  Her gifted voice touches the hearts and souls of all who listen.

Robin Rice, founder of the Awesome Women Hub, led the live discussion in LA while Dr. Julie Krull relayed the information from the audience through Facebook chat and Dr. Carla Goddard facilitated the virtual conversation from Tampa, Florida for a seven hour facilitated event.

Women aging from 14 to 85 were involved in the conversation, leading to a widespread outreach across social, economic, ethnic and cultural barriers.  Due to the overwhelming participation, future tour stops will include live stream options to reach women in every corner of the globe.

The weekend culminated in a collaboratively created music video by both the live event participants and the virtual RE-Think Tank participants (See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUvinudBkSs). By design, all live and virtual attendees share the video the moment it is released.  The next event is scheduled for September in New England, with future stops in Seattle and Orlando.  Planning is currently underway for International stops in Scotland, Ireland, England, France, Germany, and Australia for 2012.
