Evolve the charitable fashion event for a great cause

July 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Not only will the event EVOLVE – Change Starts Here create an awareness affect, but will also showcase fashions from some of the hottest boutiques/retail stores, along with a showcasing designer from Baltimore Fashion Week.

The lineup of fashion to be showcased on Friday, July 22, 2011 will include the fashion category of Ready-To- Wear; Swimwear; Evening: Avant Garde; and of course Vintage.  

Showcasing Boutiques/Retail Stores include A People United – Mt. Vernon;
Boulevard Boutique – Debois Textiles – Baltimore; Gian Marco – Mt. Vernon;
In The Details – Hampden; and Ma Petite Shoes – Hampden.  Monarch – Waldorf, Maryland is also a showcasing of BFW2011.  The collection of Monarch will hit the runway on Sunday, August 21, 2011).

To complete the looks a collective team of creative forces have been joined together for this event.  Creative services will be provided by Kiss N Makeup (Make-Up) – Hampden; Flaunt (Make-Up) – Hampden; Geometrics (Hair) – Canton; Patrick’s – Columbia

“With the charitable mission in mind and the collective efforts for the love of fashion from the designer, retail stores, boutiques, and make-up artists and hair salons, I am just excited to sit and see what they create.  In the beginning when the idea was posed to me, I frowned a little.  When the referral of the charitable organization was suggested I got excited because the mission is close to my heart and we were full speed ahead with production phases.  I just put it in the mix and it became another day-to-day task for this event.  This event could not have happened if it were not for my team.  They are absolutely awesome!’ stated Nixon, CEO of Baltimore Fashion Week.

EVOLVE-Change Starts Here will take place Friday, July 22, 2011 at 9:04 p.m. at Club Hippo located 1 East Eager Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201.  Tickets range from $20 to $10 per seat and are available on the event website and at the door.
