Review On 2011 Titleist 910H Hybrid

July 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Just released a few days ago, the Titleist 910H Hybrid is built to gain accuracy and control from various technologies that Titleist has used to build this golf club. The "SureFit Tour" dual-angle hosel offers 16 settings to independently customize loft and lie, and to optimize ball flight via both trajectory and directional bias. It sounds so amazing, right?

Redesigned Head…Strong and Forceful Sensation…
The hybrid looks similar to the Titleist 910F Fairway Wood. One big advantage of the hybrid lies in the redesigned head, which makes this club easier to hit from the rough and from the fairway. This means that the golfer can use this club from many different lies. It also has adjustable loft and lie angles, which help make the club customizable to your game. It provides a strong and forceful sensation at impact and there is not a lot of twisting of the clubhead through the ball.

Fantastic Adjustable Technology…
The adjustable technology was a huge plus for me in that it gave me the ability to adjust the lie angle. It is another big strength I found. I cranked the lie angle of the demo club up the full 1.5* with the standard loft angle, and let her rip. Let me just say that I simply could not miss the center of the club face. Shot after shot after shot was hit dead on the screws right where I was aiming. I guess this is what people mean when they say hybrids are easy to hit! The lie angle was absolutely perfect, giving me none of the twisting and bouncing to which I have grown accustomed from most hybrids.

Flighted Performance…
Like some others in the industry, Titleist has cooked in to the hybrid design what it calls “Flighted Performance”.  Basically, as you transition between lofts, the head shape, offset, and Center of Gravity locations change.  The goal is to create optimum trajectory and spin for each club. as the lofts get weaker, the profile of the head becomes noticeably larger.  What that means to me is that while the 19° model is reasonably iron-like in appearance, by the time you get to the 24°, the hybrids start to become just a tiny bit more fairway-like in design.

Higher MOI For Enhanced Control..
Titleist R&D partnered with the Titleist Tour staff to create a new confidence inspiring head shape, which is characterized by a five percent larger chassis with square toe profile. The Titleist 910H Hybrid features a higher moment of inertia for enhanced control and produces higher launch, lower spin and a straighter flight. The profile, offset and center of gravity in the new 910H hybrids transitions throughout the lofts to create optimal trajectory and spin for each club. The new 910H provides improved flight, sound, feel, looks and overall performance.

Does The Titleist 910H Hybrid Suit You?
The hybrid is built for the more serious golfer that is highly skilled or is in the process of working on their game often. It is not recommended for the weekend warrior or the golfer that has a higher handicap because it is expensive compared to other hybrids and it is more technologically advanced. This is a golf club for the golfer that understands the different adjustments that need to be made to make it fit their game properly.

Summary
Overall, the golf club is made to deliver incredible versatility and better flight, looks, feel, and sound than past Titleist 910 series. They completely redesigned the club head for less spin and a higher launch, allowing the golfer to have more control and consistency from the longer fairway shots and shots from the rough. This club is also built with the surefit dual angle technology, which gives the player the ability to adjust the loft and the lie angle to fit their game and the way they hit the ball. If you belong to the low handicap players, this baby is one made for you.
