Calculator Texas Holdem iPhone app just released on iStore.

July 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Texas Holdem Poker has become very popular over recent years, particularly with the advent of internet play.
To help all those budding new poker players get a good start, a useful new poker pre-flop calculator has just been released on the Apple iTunes App store. And of course, experienced players will find it useful for double-checking their existing pre-flop strategies.
This handy iPhone app is called 'Calculator Texas Holdem'. A useful hand strength calculator for the iPhone that should never leave a player's side.

The app consists of three main sections:
1. The hand strength calculator itself.
2. Betting strategies, including a very useful playable-hands graph.
3. General playing tips that any poker player will find most handy.

The calculator page functions as a poker companion and shows the user what his/her chances are, of winning with any given pre-flop poker hand. Up to six hands at a time can be entered to give comparative hand strength results. The number of players at the table can also be entered, as this will have a bearing on the overall potential of a given hand.
Each entered hand will display its percentage chances of winning the pre-flop. Statistics were collected from real life game play over literally thousands of hands. These empirical  results vary from purely statistical results, due to the player's perceptions of any given hand. The specially designed fast hand entry system will be able to keep up with live game play and assist in critical pre-flop bets.

The playable hands graph can be found on the Betting page. This is designed to quickly and easily show every possible pre flop hand in one glance. By selecting the cards you have been dealt along the horizontal and vertical axis you will see a recommended play at the intersection point.

The Tips page explains a lot of the game play theories being presented in this poker app. Things like positional play, betting hands and much more are explained and clarified.
