The K15 line has replaced the multi-material Rapture line of cheap golf clubs, but at a very different price point. But Ping is touting the K15 line as “game-improvement” and the G15 models are still considered “performance”.



In order to improve your ball flight and build consistency in your game, the larger K15 iron combines a lightweight titanium face with a stainless-steel body to increase both forgiveness and launch conditions. Four hybrid options (3 through 6) rely on a patent-pending design that creates lower-spinning, higher-launching shots that fly straighter and longer. PING engineers made the iron clubface larger and added 27 grams to the perimeter for a higher MOI. The iron’s extra-wide sole features a low and deep center of gravity to promote high trajectories and low spin.



K15 irons enable you to customize sticks for optimum performance. Construct your own set makeup from a choice of nine cheap golf irons (5-iron through lob wedge) and four hybrids (3h to 6h). Perimeter-weighted, multi-material irons (stainless steel body and lightweight titanium clubface) have loads of perimeter weighting to boost ball flight, and forgiveness. The hybrids are crafted to produce high-launch, low-spin shots through increased MOI and "optimal" CG position.



I must say here, the Ping K15 Irons is designed for golfers who benefit from a maximum forgiveness design. The titanium face and steel body of the K15 iron creates a higher moment of inertia for greater accurracy. I was particularly impressed by the UW (utility) wedge(Cheap Golf Drivers), with its more rounded toe and dark, gunmetal look that helps to ooze confidence for those scoring shots from 100 yards in. Confirming completely with the revised R&A groove rules the Ping K15 golf irons feature a larger clubhead to improve forgiveness and deliver a complete game improvement club.



It has a great feel, even from the tightest of lies and proved an able chipping tool, too. Overall, these clubs are very well balanced, and should suit beginners and high-cappers extremely well.
