| Young Americans Bank and the Denver Zoo host a party to teach kids philanthropyWHO: Young Americans Bank, the only bank in the world designed for youth 21 and under, and the Denver Zoo, have teamed up to teach kids about philanthropy.
By: Katie Payer Since March 2011, Young Americans Bank customers and young Denver Zoo patrons have taken home “ele” banks to fill with coins, which are then donated to the Asian Tropics exhibit, slated to open in spring of 2012. A mid-summer party hosted at the Young Americans Bank will serve to spread awareness to the public about the campaign. The party will include live animals from the Zoo, food for party attendees. There will also be representatives from the Zoo on site to discuss the Asian Tropics exhibit. This event is open to the public and is free of charge.
