Insurance coverage for iPhone

July 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Phone Guard Global  has announced that it will slash the cost for customers wanting to protect themselves against Theft, loss, accidental damage, water damage and Normal hardware failure for their precious smartphone.
Beginning in July, Phone Guard Global's plan will cost users $115.75 for the iPhone 16GB and $119.50 for the iPhone 32GB. if at any time they need to replace their iPhone for any reason, they pay a $50 deductible on accidental damage  and $75.00 deductible for theft or loss and are sent a replacement.

Customers can file up to two claims within a 12 month period, but in some cases they may be required to ship back their damaged iPhone to there sister company in charge of the insurance claims.

With the economy in a down fall our cell phones are our life line, we all have plenty of bills to pay, and having the “pleasure” of forking out additional money for a new iPhone or iPad might be painful to pay for now, but the principle of delayed gratification comes into play.  What about insurance for cell phones?
