July 10, 2011 - PRLog -- After 15 years as a successful Home Inventory Professional, Michelle Ketterman, owner of The Inventory Experts in Dallas, Texas, and Founder of The Inventory Institute, a national initiative for Home Inventory Professionals, is sharing the long held secret tools and strategies of running a profitable and ethical Home Inventory service.

‘How to be a Home Inventory Professional’ class gives would-be entrepreneurs access to the many lessons learned and streamlined processes required to build a successful endeavor in the Home Inventory profession. This class is the first of its kind and makes the Home Inventory Profession available to everyone.

The class will be in Louisville on Monday, July 25th. Cost is $500. To ensure everyone has the attention they deserve, Ketterman has limited the class to only 12 seats. Reservations can be made at http://homeinventorylouisville.eventbrite.com/.

The 7 hour class covers everything from why a 3rd party Home Inventory is important, how to perform a Home Inventory, how to effectively market, and addresses the myriad of topics unique to the Home Inventory Profession. Home Inventory Professionals encounter intricacies and situations not found in other professions. Ketterman’s class combines humorous real life examples along with anecdotal situations. At the end of the day, individuals have a complete grasp on the Home Inventory Profession and are ready set up their Home Inventory Service and being seeing clients.

Attendees participate in a 60 minute break-out session ‘Networking for the Home Inventory Professional’ by Regina Hoover of The Inventory Authority, Nashville’s premier Home Inventory service. Regina is the national expert on networking for the inventory profession.

Participants work side by side with Michelle at the Chocolate Blues and Business Networking Festivals on July 26th and keep all leads and strategic partnerships and introductions made there.

‘Although we cannot prevent devastating events like fire, robbery, flood, earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis, and so on, we can take every step possible to make sure that if the unthinkable happens, we are as prepared as possible. FEMA says that next to homeowners insurance, keeping a current home inventory is the most responsible thing a home and business owner can do, so don’t wait until it’s too late. Statistics show that a current inventory puts you at the front of the claims line and results in receiving a higher claim reimbursement check faster,’ said Ketterman.

Michelle will also teach the Home Inventory Professionals class in Texas, California, Baltimore, New York, Kentucky, Puerto Rico this year. Michelle can be reached at 972-834-8592 and ProveItsYours.com and TheInventoryInstitute.com, on Twitter at @ExpertInventory or at Facebook.com/TheInventoryInstitute or Facebook.com/TheInventoryExperts.
