Jason Langley, currently Senior Vice President North America has been appointed Executive Vice President, North & South America. Co-founder Robert Hurst explains, “We are spending over a million pounds a year producing new music and at the same time investing significant sums in building an international customer focused business, so we need to make sure we have the right management team in place to enable the business to fulfil its potential. I am certain that with the exceptional talent we have available to us we have made the right choices”. Hurst and fellow co-founder, Andrew Sunnucks will now focus on the overall group strategy with the aim of maintaining the high double digit growth that Audio Network has enjoyed every year since its inception. Sunnucks plans to spend up to 6 months of the coming year in the US searching for new composer and musician talent while Hurst focuses on developing strategic partnerships and acquisition opportunities for the group. Audio Network has grown from a start-up idea in July 2001 to one of the major suppliers of production music. It now has its own offices in London, New York, Toronto, Amsterdam and Sydney and representation in most major territories around the world. The company releases around 24 hours of new music every month. Juliette Squair - who joined the company in 2002- said, “It’s very exciting to be taking over as MD - I believe that the key to continued growth lies in uncompromising standards in customer service and music quality. We need to make certain we don’t let our foot of the pedal for a second. What’s more, I love the fact that Audio Network has provided such a great opportunity for so many of its staff and composers, and that the opportunities for us all are still huge as we continue to grow.” www.audionetwork.com # # # HIgh quality, good value Music publishing library to the television, film, advertising and corporate industries.
