Wingspan Seminars’ CEO Invited To Train In Nigerian Amnesty Program

July 4, 2011 - PRLog -- MIAMI, F.L.) – Saturday, July 2, 2011—Nonviolent transformational training is one of the concessions provided to the ex-militants in the Nigerian Amnesty Program.  Priscilla Dames, along with a team of international trainers return to their homes after a week and a half of experiencing  this program.

After decades of fighting, the Nigerian government is offering a special program to encourage citizens to lay down their arms.  The Nigerian Amnesty Re-entry Program includes counseling, assessments, nonviolent transformation training and job assistance to help them prepare for re-entering their communities. Over 20,000 Nigerians have laid down their arms.  LaFayette & Associates, an American based Kingian Nonviolent company, was selected by the Nigerian government to provide Nonviolent Transformational Training. The Kingian trainers, have trained over 16, 000 since the program was initiated,  July, 2010. Trained through the Rhode Island Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies in 2007, and selected by Br. Bernard LaFayette to participate in the amnesty program, Priscilla Dames has become a lead trainer.
