River Forest Senior Citizen's Fair-May 13th, 2011

July 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Woods Home Improvements participated in the Senior Citizen's Fair sponsored by the Senior Citizen's Center of Oak Park and River Forest.  The event was the colmination of Senior Citizen's week in the two villages.  Many programs were held throughout the two villages during the week and the Senior Citizen's Fair was the capstone event.  Though it was a rainy Chicagoland day, the participants enjoyed meeting those in attendance as well as the comraderie of their fellow businesses and agencies.  

Many area agencies participated in the fair including:  A Place for Mom, Dawson Relocation Services, Gunthers Grades, Senior Living Experts, A Silver Connection, Bentron Financial, the Forest Park National Bank, the Cremation Society of Illinois,  Woodlawn Funeral Home, Lotus Wellness Studio, OsteoArthritis Center of Forest Park, Rush Oak Park Hospital, Sound Care Hearing Group, West Suburban Hospital, Comfort Keepers, Gentiva Health Service, Home Instead Senior Care, Belmont Village, British Home, Bridgeway Christian Village, Elmwood Care Skilled Nursing, Greenview Place, Grove of LaGrange Park, Holley Court Terrace, Oak Park Arms,  Resurrection-Casa San Carlo, Senior Suites-Chicago, Victory Centre of River Woods, Peck Bloom LLC, Acorn Travel, the Senior Citizens' Center of Oak Park River Forest, Forest Park Senior Services, Oak Park Township Senior Services, Village of Oak Park Senior Loans and River Forest Township. Other agencies participating are Circle F. Properties, Seguin Services and Woods Home Improvement.

The Senior Citizens' Center of Oak Park and River Forest graciously provided a catered lunch for all participating agencies.
