Countdown to the Wales National Air Show

July 1, 2011 - PRLog -- The countdown has begun for the Wales National Air Show taking place in Swansea Bay on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July.  The event, organised by the City and County of Swansea is the headline event of the summer!

Swansea Prom is the venue for the much anticipated world famous Red Arrows, supersonic Team Viper (first appearance at the Wales National Air Show), the Hawk, Search and Rescue helicopter, the Breitling Wingwalkers and local display, Team Osprey.

In addition to the Red Arrows and Team Viper there will be a plethora of displays including the Hawk, Tucano, Team Osprey, The Blades and helicopter displays.  Visitors can expect to be entertained all day with activities such as flight simulators, an inflatable assault course, climbing wall, a chance to see a Typhoon cockpit close up, armoured vehicles and weaponry, trade stands, a funfair and more!

The Red Arrows close the air displays on Saturday and Team Viper on Sunday.
