June 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Make a pillow in memory of someone in your life that has died. This is a great way to preserve the memories of loved ones in an attractive and functional way. Group participants will use special material and/or personal effects of loved ones to create their own unique memory pillow.

The workshop for creating a unique memory pillow will happen on Mondays, July 11, 18 & 25, from 4:00 - 5:30 pm at the Buchanan Senior Center, 810 Rynearson Street, Buchanan. Attendance at all sessions is required to finish the project. Class size is limited to 15 people so please call 269-983-2707 to reserve a spot.

Participants will need to bring a large piece of clean and ironed material (such as a shirt, dress, sheet, or pillow case). Participants may also bring small memory items to place in or sew onto the pillow. It is helpful if participants could bring their own sewing scissors, but is not mandatory. All other materials will be provided by Hospice at Home.
