Orlando Dance Contest a win for Shriners Hospitals for Children and Fred Astaire Dance Studio

July 14, 2011 - PRLog -- On Friday June 17th, USA Dance held their annual "Putting on the Ritz" Charity Ball.  Over $5,000 dollars was raised for the Shriners Hospital for Children at the event.  The collaborative effort of 6 dance studios in Orlando created an atmosphere of fun which showcased several Pro/Am dancers from each local studio.  At the end of the night,  First Place was awarded to Fred Astaire Orlando Studio's dancers  William Brand and Caroline Rubanick.   It was fun participating in an event for such a good cause" said William Brand.    "My Partner Caroline performed well in her first public appearance."   Hundreds attending enjoyed a variety of dance exhibitions from local Orlando studios.  ' It is really a privilege to join in with other dance studio's for such a good cause", said Michelle Brand, owner of the Fred Astaire Orlando Studios.  The event is held annually by USAdance.org.
