SAG RFID Near Field UHF Round Inlay G2iL chips

June 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Different from Far Field Passive Backscatter in most UHF application, Near Field UHF utilizes Near Field Electromagnetic Inductance Coupling like LF and HF which has a shorter reading distance normally shorter than 0.5 meter. One reason for Near Field UHF is so users can use the same UHF Gen2 system and just change the reader antenna to read the near field tags. By Electromagnetic Inductance Coupling, the influence of water or moisture on reading performance can also be negligible in application with Near Field UHF.

With a small die cut size of 18mm diameter, SAG’s Near Field UHF Round Inlay/Label is suitable for tagging on small objects such as vials, bottles and small packages in different industries like pharmaceutical, health care and retail for item identification and tracking.
