The Triumph 5551-EP is controlled with an electronic hand wheel which offers variable speed control for manual back gauge settings.

The MBM SCS™ (Safety Cutting System) features a hinged, transparent safety guard on front table which locks automatically while cutting, a safety catch which locks blade lever in up position, a blade change from the front without removing any machine covers, a blade changing device that covers the cutting edge of the blade, blade depth adjustment from the outside of the machine and a cutting stick can be turned or changed from outside of the machine.
